• The city of Hamadan, the capital of the region, is situated on a plateau 1800 m asl am close to Mount Alvand top m 3571. It 'a city of very ancient origins and glorious history, even if today is not much left to witness the its former glory. Often with this name are generically indicated many rugs produced in this region but who in reality features a little 'different.
