Designed in 1954 by the famous French master glassmaker and decorator Max Ingrand, the lamp was originally named 1853 and later Fontana, a tribute to the company of which the Maestro was the Artistic Director for a decade. For design and connoisseur enthusiasts in the history of the brand, 1853 still remains a sort of nickname. The first symbol of timeless design, still best seller and timeless icon, Fontana is the quintessential lamp. A very precious lamp in white satin blown glass, alBedy reissued in the total black variant, is now proposed in a colored and unpublished version - light gray and amethyst purple - which reinforces the contemporaneity of the project.
